Onstage in Lunenburg County...

Wonderful live performances of music, theatre and dance!

That's the vision of the Bridgewater & Area Performing Arts Society (BAPAS), which has already produced an Air Traffic Control concert onstage in theatre #1 of Bridgewater's Empire Theatre Studio 7, and has brought Lunenburg County history to life onstage with Glimpses: A look at Our History Through Scene and Song in the same venue.

BPAS is led by artists and community-minded citizens who recognize the value of a strong performing arts presence in our community. A long-term goal of the BAPAS is to create a dedicated performing arts venue, however the arrangement with Empire Theatres Studio 7 establishes new space immediately. BAPAS has already branched out and will also bring Bridgewater & area residents live performances in the Best Western Hotel & Convention Centre, starting with the Bridgewater & Area Performing Arts Society's 2010 Annual Fundraiser "Holidazed – An Offbeat Christmas Musical for Mature Audiences" in the 'Whitetail Room' of the Best Western Hotel & Convention Centre.
